My name is Carrie Warner Rowan and I am both thrilled and humbled to become the director of Hudson United Kids. I attend Hudson Wesleyan Church, which my husband Wes pastors. Wes and I have three children - Lissa, Matt, and Emily.
I have been actively involved in children's ministry and worship ministry for over 25 years: teaching Sunday school and children's church, directing VBS, participating in bus ministry, producing Christmas programs, and writing curriculum - as well as serving as a pianist and worship leader.
My passion for working with children is strong. I have a teaching degree from Hillsdale College and am state certified to teach K-8th grades. I taught 5th grade at Hillsdale Community Schools for 13 years before becoming an Instructional Coach and Literacy Interventionist. I served on the Michigan Department of Education's social studies taskforce, developing state-wide curriculum and testifying before the State Board of Education.
I am beyond excited to have the chance to share the love of God with the children of Hudson! It is a privilege to be able to lead our children in worship, learning, fun, and ultimately into a close relationship with Jesus Christ.

Thank you, parents, for giving me the opportunity to partner with you in helping children grow in their knowledge of, and relationship with, God. I look forward to all that God has in store for United Hudson Kids!
